I hope that this letter of invitation finds you well.  On behalf of the Board, Committee, Management and Staff, we extend an invitation to your organization to partner with us in the Summit and attend the Summit.  We welcome the women from the American Association of Russian Women and very much want you to participate in our Summit and have a presence there.  We also extend an invitation to attend the Opening Ceremony on October 8, 2011 at 7:00PM and the Award Ceremony on October 11th at 7:00PM as well as any of the other summit sessions if you can.   
 
Global Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation will host its first annual Global Woman Summit on October 8 – 11, 2011 in Washington, D.C. at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill.  Some of the women expected to participate in the Summit include Malaysian First Lady, Her Excellency Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, U.S. First Lady, Michelle Obama, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Suaad Fahad Al-Harthi, India’s Dr. Kiran Bedi, CEO Mary Jane Alvero-Al Mahdi of Geo Testing Laboratory of the U.A.E., to name a few.  Topics to be discussed at the summit include Peace & Security for Women; Higher Education for Women; Financial Empowerment & Technology for Women; Health & Wellness for Women; Environmental Affairs.  
 
The Global Woman Summit is an educational three-day event, uniting and honoring women from around the world, in an effort to help close the bridge that divides them.  Global Woman will bring approximately a thousand women of all nationalities, religions and races together in ages ranging from 29 to 79 years old.  The three-day summit will conclude with an Awards Ceremony, where women will be honored for their work in their respective communities.    
 
The Global Woman Committee has compiled a package of events during the summit.  The proceeds from the Summit will fund a journalism scholarship for one eligible girl from each continent and other programs against violence on women and girls.
